ScHoolboy Q schooled the rap game on this one and Kendrick… was Kendrick (and we mean that in a positive vein).
In the song “Birds and the Beez”, ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick discuss the wild things that happen in the projects that have become normal to them, hence birds and the bees. They reference the drugs, murder, and jailing that are all too prevalent in the hood. Overall, the two Top Dawg Entertainment artists do the track justice, with ScHoolboy Q doing his thing and Kendrick viciously attacking the instrumental.
