Throwback Thursdays: Rakim’s “Waiting For the World To End”

“Through my travels I try to take righteous steps
Because right or left could mean life of death
No matter how trife it get, my sights is set”

He tells stories, uses witty lyrics, and references multiple topics through insanely clever puns and metaphors. We find Rakim to be one of the dopest emcees to ever live and his track is a clear example of why we think so.
